Time to rock n roll kiddies....yanked out the stock heavy as shit K member today with my good buddy Brian Mauro. Ran in to a few snags today but im still waiting on some parts to show up, namely my Maximum Motorsports Coil over kit and 4 bolt caster camber plates. 26 spline Liberty input shaft showed up so after we yank the tranny tomorrow afternoon(yes im taking a half day at work to wrench) im going to drain the tranny fluid and set up the new input shaft per liberty's spec's. Very productive day, we even moved onto removing the H-pipe and dropping the drive shaft, tomorrow's main goal, tranny removal and input shaft install....here's some pics

UPR kframe assembled using stock A arm bolts
have to reroute brake lines(bend) on passengerside for k to fit flush, also a ground strap must be relocated on driver side.

we installed the steering rack and found out stock spindle nuts wont work on UPR's spindle stud...so im trying to locate the missing nuts other wise the spindles would be installed also....my goal is to have her back on the ground and completely operational by end of the weekend....going to be a busy bee this weekend kiddies

Got to the trans and clutch stuff today, decided to play hooky all day instead of a half day....picked up the proper 5/8 - 18 castle nuts for spindle studs so i could button that up today while im still waiting on my Maximum motorsport suspension stuff...anywho lets get to the good shit shall we..
This is the items needed for relocating of the ground strap the K fram interfer's with on driver side...drill,sand,screw in that order.
Next, spacers for the spindle shaft & 5/8 -18 castle nut, had to open this suckers up a tad, 1/2" was all they had at home depot..tools used in pic, just need some cotter pins to finish it off

NOW THE FUN FUN SHIT :
Tranny removal and drainage for 26 spline input hsaft install
becareful removing stock shaft...
not going to bore you with setting up the dial indicator and stuff to show end play..it had less then .0005 end play...ill upload my vid of the setup later....also the stock shim was perfect for this setup inpeticular...i ordered a shim kit just incase but didnt need it.
How would this have done with a sticky tire and 600+hp...not very well, STOCK 51k clutch
All set and ready for the flywheel to return from the machine shop tomorrow...clutch was supposed to be delivered today but i missed the delivery while i dropped off the flywheel so ill have all that stuff tomorrow....stay tuned finally assembly coming up in a few days.
