in a 1991 gt with moroso solid motor mounts and a 670 street avenger would not clear a stock hood...just a good excuse to buy a cowl hood!

guess I have some mock up to do...I have a mach 1 hood with a 1 3/4 inch rise, but I was really hoping to stay with the stock hood...Thanks for your help

it would be a little more work but im sure you could shorten the stock motor mounts a little. and as i said i was runnin moroso build your own motor mounts that were a hair taller then stock. if i remember it was only over by a little bit i just wanted a cowl hood

Well, I pulled the stock manifold off today and rested the airgap intake in place with carb and air filter. Stock hood closed but is close....However it did not fit with a carb spacer. The set up is Energy suspension mounts, the air gap and a 3+ inch filter. So if I were to use drop mounts or a smaller filter, the spacer could easily fit.
