OK today is the start of "welding weeekend", it is cloudy & 72° & no rain....yet. I welded in the patches on the rear section of the l/s frame rail.

I also started welding in the l/s cowl side panel patch until it started to rain. At least I got in 4 hrs of work today. Time for a beer.

Today I ground down the welds on the l/s frame patches & test fit the l/s floor support.

Today I drilled all the plug weld holes in the l/s front floor support.

Today 7/19/16 I drilled the plug weld holes in the inner & outer pieces of the l/s torque box.

Today I test fit the l/s floor support, & the l/s inner torque box.

Thanks Bruce. Well today despite the heat I welded in the l/s floor support, & started welding in the l/s inner torque box.

Today I finished welding in the l/s inner torque box, & welded in the l/s outer torque box.

Today I spent a couple hours working on the Coupe I removed the steering column, & did a test fit of the l/s full floor so I know how much to cut off the l/s toe board patch.

Thanks Bruce. Today I spent a few hours trimming the l/s toe board patch & reforming the upper section to fit & drilled the spot weld holes.

Today I welded in the l/s toe board patch, & drilled the spot weld holes in the l/s long floor pan & did another test fit.

Today I finished drilling the spot weld holes & reworked the front section that overlaps the toe board for a better fit.

Today my back is sore so I took a day off from bending over the floor & did some work on the dash. I had to modify the factory radio mounting bracket to accept the 80's era AM/FM Stereo radio.

Today I started welding in the l/s long floor & got about 1/2 way done when I ran out of welding wire.

Today I spent a couple hours & finished welding in the l/s long floor pan, & started fitting the l/s seat platform.

Today I spent a couple hours fitting the l/s seat platform & welding it in.

Then I bolted the drivers seat back in.
