I got some time to spend a couple hours out in the garage & do some work on the Mustang. I finish trimmed the floor for the patch piece I cut & also made a patch for the cowl side panel that was damaged when removing the rusted torque box.

I was out in the garage today cutting out the rusted section of the rear inner section of the r/s front frame rail.

I also cut the patch piece I bought to fit the frame rail. I just need to do some finish grinding to get a perfect fit, then I will weld it in.

I also test fit the r/s floor support.

Did some finish grinding to the r/s front frame rail patch & test fitted it, fits good. Now I just have to weld it in.

Got in some garage time today & I cut out a small spot in the r/s cowl side panel just in front of the r/s vent hole that had some rust damage & also got some damage when I was removing the section of the toe board & the old torque box.

I also started drilling the spot weld holes in the new r/s front floor support to get it ready to weld in.

The weather here was nice today so I got to spend a couple hours out in the garage (a birthday present to me) to do some welding on the l/s front inner fender panel where it meets the shock tower & the radiator support. Pics to follow tomorrow.

I purchased an export brace from a member on another forum & it would not bolt up due to the shock towers sagging. Today using a 4X4 piece of wood & a heavy duty bottle jack I was able to spread the shock towers to get the export brace bolted up.
