65mm BBK/Edelbrock Throttle Body

I noticed after mounting this that the stock plenum's intake hole is smaller than the T.B.'s hole.My question is since there is a Step down in the diameter of the air flow hole will this cause some problems.The car runs fine but I was wondering if the hole to the plenum can be honed out to match the hole of the T.B.,and if it should be addressed?Thanks1

It should be port matched. You really don't need a tb on a stock engine anyway.

So Am I able to just hone it myself with a whiz wheel or something?It seems to be only a 1/8 inch ,I just dont know how thick the metal is of the plenum.

You will have to take the upper off and use a dremel or something. Then clean it out.

thats what I would do.So you are saying I really didnt get any type of gain by upgrading the T.B.?

^not really ......mybe a gt 40 same thing as the cobra but cheaper...
i just sead that because if your taking the top intake off just to mach up the t/b you might as well wait till you can go for a different intake all together .......just saying ...

if I go with the gt40 intake do I have to change the heads or does it just mount on with no other mods...sorry I am new to this

straight up bolt on upper and lower .....thats what i got on my car with stock heads..thats comeing next sometime lol....
