i just bought brand new 31 spline axles im gonna call summit tomorrow and have them sent back cuz i would rather yours cuz i paid a lot for the new ones and moneys tight... where are you located?
are there any benifits of having a c clip eliminator and does it require any modification or is it bolt on?

The C-clip elims are great for racing applications to help keep the axle in in case of breakage. We have run them on the street but they do require maintenance (keeping the bolts tight to make sure they don't leak). The hoasing requires minor modification. The seal and bearing needs to be pulled out of each side and the ends of the housing need cut off. Take about an hour or 2 to modify the housing.
C-Clip eliminators are required for any car going 11.49 or faster in the 1/4 mile.

**EDIT** These axles are also equipped with C-clip ends. The Eliminators could be pressed off and the axles can be used like a normal clip axle.

If you buy them I will press off the eliminators before I ship them. I cant guarantee the eliminators will come off in one piece but if they do I will put them in the box with the axles. The c clips are already in your rear end. You will need to take them off to get the axles out. Put them on the new axles when you put the in. Do you have a 31 spline carrier?
