Ya I know that L 
(been on the L boards for over 9 years and have owned (3) Gen II Lightnings including the Worlds Fastest Street Lightning).
My L had no miles on it and wasnt worth 1/2 of that
And believe me it aint got anywhere near 1000 HP
My L was 650 RWHP on 93 Octane with @ 22lbs of Boost, 680 RWHP on C16 with @ 25 lbs of boost, and 780 RWHP on the Spray. Ran 9.74 @ 138.76 & 9.9 at 136. something... full weight +
(heavier Cowl Hood, Full Bar / Cage, 58" Long Bars, Steel Drive Shaft & Loop, Bed Rug, and over 40LB's of N20 Tank and Assy's)
I was running 15" Bogart D10's with Hoosiers so there was some weight savings there over the stock rims
He's trying to say the built motor would handle 1000 HP, but believe me with a 2.3 on it he prob dont even have 600 RWHP. He's off his rocker with the price, it'll prob take 5K - 7K to make it look normal again
