and the 95 isnt even a 2v right......Last year of 5.0s right

But either way is what Im reading threw this post is that building my 2v up to 300RWHP and something similar with torque is that I would be putting about the same amount of money into my stang as If I was too go straight for the Supercharged Route????

Really loving the input guys trying to figure out EXACTLY witch way my car is going this Spring!

I would say if you know you want to supercharge your car then save and buy the parts to go that route. sucks getting parts to get started then wanting a blower and then you have to sell someparts to get others. get what you want for the bottom end, heads and cam. thats a good start.

correct, that is the last year of 5.0, btw i messed up, he had a cam not cams lol
going NA is more expensive but i think it's very unique. it's always easier to just slam a supercharger and run some boost, NA is harder and more appreciated.

I like seeing a nice N/A motor but I also like the feeling of my body sucking threw the seat trying to get to the back one.lol well i wish but its something like that.

450 something rwhp with 15psi ins't impressive to me on a 2v.

The OP is talking about n/a hence my comment.

Ill throw a S/C on my 3v with half the boost and make the same power...

I know what you guys mean It is def. more uniqe.....But Im kinda goin for the instant power route and think Im now leaning towards the supercharger!

Any one can....but its who does!:awesomework:..... I think that 450 from a car that comes at about 225 or something stock is pretty impressive!:headbang:

if your not looking to go too wild just get like a kb 2.1. you can get them fairly cheap. but you'll need a bigger fuel pump or a bap, injectors, maf. sct makes some good maf's. you should also really get a cai unless you got once since i seen you at the dyno. there isnt a whole lot you can do besides like headers. n/a cams are different from s/c cams so it wouldnt be in your best intrest to run n/a cams with a blower. and heads you dont want to do too much on cause for boost you want lower compression then n/a. 2v short blocks are good till about 450 horse from what ive heard and seen. hope to have mine over 400 when it leaves the garage this spring. but most gains would be minimal since you dont want to be taking mods off for the s/c. i suggest just save up for the blower and do it all one shot.

Yup now that Iv done some more research into it all Im thinking the same way!:awesomework:

i have spent,

300 on heads and stock pi cams,
150 on pi intake,
600 on Stage 1 Cam
120 head changing kit
200 on SCT tuner,
500 on dyno tune
---------- Just about 2 grand over the amount of time of 1 year...

hes already got pi heads. and hes looking at putting a blower on it so theres no point in putting n/a cams in it.

and chiltons book!

you wouldnt need a lot of the parts i had to buy.. head,intake, head changing kit

thats already 500!

lol i bought a pi intake with fuel rails and 21lb injectors for 100
70 for C&L Plenum
131.59 for Stack throttle body(thanks to NYM discount code)
and here i have a 30+whp gain for just little over $300

Yea thats def. an advantage but I cant quite find an answer to about how much cam install costs.......I could possible go that route but the cam install is one major concern and the other is (Im still kinda new to this...my first stang) I dont even know about heads.....Are these really theme

there is a tool that Anderson ford makes that keeps the car timing in place as you replace the cams! its really easy to do.:awesomework:
