You need to get a tuner, the OEM tune is lame, i gained 11 rwhp and 14 rwtq from the canned tune sniper gave me to me adjusting the fuel and timing a bit. So from stock to that would prob be somewhere in the 15/20 range.:drool:

I'm still running rich, as i installed a wideband and I'm at about 12.2 at WOT where I should be at 13. Those tailpipe wideband sensors the dynos use read lean apparently, because when i was getting it tested it read like 16... and the guy was nice enough to let me try a few quick tunes on my laptop.

I'm 1.5 hours away too, but Its a blast going. I meet a bunch of mustang guys last time i was there Its a good old fashion good time, lol

totally forgot to mention, i have an Xcal II with a BBR tune, as soon as i'm done with the intake, plenum and Tbody, i'll give BBR another call. when i dynoed my car at Real Speed, it went to 11.1 at 5700rpm, so even with a tune my car is super rich, i wanna get a wide band so that way i can just tell the BBR to lean it out a bit.

which body shop do u go to? im going all they way to the BX, cuz he does some amazing work with body and paint. i need work done on the stang and as gonna go there this weekend. but if u suggest a good spot closer to me, ima hit em up for a quote

no doubt, i was gonna go in the AM too, but i remembered i have a DELL technician coming over the house between 8-10. then ima knock out again after that, then head there i say around 3

So I think I have made a final decision.....I am thinking Im gonna start the mods off with a simple....
JLT CAI, Bassani catted X-pipe, Steeda underdrive pullies, and last but not least the SCT SF3 power flash costum tuner and 4.10 gear kit! with the gear kit the 8.8 traction lok rebuild kit with carbon disks and the motive bearing kit!
I cant wait for the mods and spring! Any estimates on power gain.....Just incase you dont know my car is all stock except for a Borla car-back system now.

All kidding aside, those are good things to start out with. Are you planning on getting a blower in the future? It might be a bit tricky with 4.10s...I'm not saying don't do it, since I know a few guys with 4.10s and blowers, and the car performs well, as long as you have a good set of tires.

Nice dude, you will definitley feel the difference, I had underdrive pullies and it DOES help and with your 4 10 gears, you should be tearin it up

I have a set of steeda UDP sitting in a box under my coach here at college. Just waiting for spring and the stang to come back up! That and the MMFLSFC sitting all nice and painted waiting for my guy to install them...hes taking his sweet ass time. I told my younger bro to warm up my stang every week or so, he said he wants a mustang now.

I may have to push for a conversion, technically hes a GM guy... saturn
