My 2014 5.0 getting some exterior work done at the body shop. Cervinis Cobra R hood.

New replacement hood ships next week. This hood had a fitiment issue uncorrectable by the shop. Cervinis saw pictures and agreed to send a NEW HOOD.

The Cobra R hoods are probably my favorite for the 13-14 Mustangs

One last fitiment adjustment was tried with Tech assistance from Cervinis. It did not fix the issue. A second COBRA R hood is being drop shipped next week. Cervinis has stood by their product.

Now that the new CERVINIS COBRA R hood is being placed on the 2014 5.0 , I decided to add KOOKS SUPER STREET SHORTY HEADERS to the engine modifications. KOOKS claims a 10 -12 HP gain. Unlike BBK these are not tuned. They are now added to my BOSS 302 INTAKE ,STEEDA COLD AIR INDUCTION, BOSS 302 ALTERNATOR, GT 500 FAN , FORD RACING ALUMINUM RADIATOR , BBK X PIPE , and BORLA ATAK AXLEBACKS. Install slated for NOVEMBER 2013.

While in the body shop the JLT driver and passenger side oil separators for the 5.0 . Moroso expansion tank replaces the stock plastic unit.

I like the style of the moroso tanks ... The raw aluminum with weld look.

Kooks Superstreet shorty headers arrived today. Work continues at the body shop . Header install in about 2 weeks with the other MODS............SEASON 2014.

My 2014 5.0 returns from the shop this Friday.All exterior work completed. New Cervini Cobra R hood now installed.Pictures will be posted this weekend.
