Triple black GT convertible w/black top boot, only run on full synthetic premium Royal Purple fluids (oil, auto transmission & rear end). Only 62,000 original miles. Special gold pony car "C" stripe graphics on side, rear & hood. I got lots of looks and comments on the stripe kit. You don't see yourself coming and going too often if at all. Unfortunately I have now sold my Stang and moved on to a C5 Corvette. Mustangs are a fun car to own and I enjoyed mine for many years. Good luck!

The wheels and tires are off a 2003 Mustang Cobra. 275/40's all the way around. I used the Steeda lowering springs that they claim are manufactured by the main supplier to NASCAR. Makes the care handle like it is on rails. No tire clearance problems with this set up at all. One of the biggest differences I noticed with bolt on's was when I installed the underdrive pulleys. Much more touchy throttle response and little engine drag if at all. As far as intake is concerned, I suggest you change the entire system, plenum, throttle body and cold air intake to maximize your performance. All work much better when the entire intake chain is improved at once. The other item I never got around to is shorty headers. That would complete the intake chain in my mind and yield the highest results.

On another note, I am a big fan of E3 spark plugs and Royal Purple fluids. I changed my rear end gears form 3:08 to 3:73, used Royal Purple rear end fluid and oil as well as five quarts of tranny fluid with filter (automatic) and installed the E3 plugs all at the same time. Car instantly went into its proper power curve and performed much better. In fact, even with the lower gear change, my mileage went up by 2 to 3 mpg! E3 went to a few drag strips and offered Cobra owners free install of their plugs so they could take their next run and compare times. Each Cobra, regardless of driver, recorded their fastest times ever for that vehicle. 100,000 mile plug too. You can get E3 plugs at Pep Boys, Advanced Auto Parts, etc. Hope the suggestions help out a little. Take care.
