1995 Tint issues

alright i just tinted my mustang today and i have water bubbles in it which are supposed to go away soon when it cures but the main issue is the back window, all the dotted area at the top is seperated and a thin line all the way around the edge of the back window and the small quarter windows in the back is seperating also and i was wondering what u guys did to solve this problem if anything

Well first of all, I would have had professionals tint the car for you... they warranty it for a couple of years for bubbling and discoloration and what not. Anyhow, it will take a few days for the bubbles to go away on the dot matrix for the rear window and the quarter windows, just make sure you don't roll your windows down for at least 3 days.

also with the little dotted areas around the top of the rear window and the little windows in the back, the dotted areas are supposed to be a shaded area. i don't know why but i had the same issue. what i did i sanded the little dotted areas just a little bit so that the tint can fully reach the windows and now mine are fine. but as for the bubbles they should go away in a couple of days. if they don't then you might need to redo the tint. hope this works

Most times, there will still be bubbling around the dot matrix, even after sitting and curing. MOST tinters Ive seen use a solid black strip at the top of the back window, where it bubbles the most.
