Yeah the thing is that the average for the car has to meet CAFE Regulations so you can have the 5.0 making the same MPG but still meet cafe by adding a super fuel efficient model to counteract what the 5.0 is OH Ok I see I read that but wasnt sure bc I know the Boss 302 has those for air...

It might be a test mule for the 2014 Model Year considering how the Mustang has to meet strict CAFE regulations soon. So its gonna be hard for the 5.0 to meet those restrictions so adding in the Ecoboost V6 into the lineup would seem like a good way to had big HP numbers to the Mustang lineup...
