Yes in a BAD way! It will make your front wheels follow the road more, If there are bad grooves it will yank on your wheels kinda....Not really to sure how to explain it or what to call it but Its not the best effect in some situations! and about the rim color...THAT MAY BE THE REASON WHY YOU...
