    Yea I know that but I think he meant all the 87-93 as the older cars did not have a different tail assembly LX/GT was the same.

    It is a Mustang Dyno so the #'s will be lower. My friends GT500 was right around 490 something on there dyno.

    Some fit better than others, heat and old age can be an issue. That or if someone had the lenses off before.

    I've never had an issue with a King Cobra, as long as it is a REAL one. Eventually they will slip. I have had a SPEC Stage 1 come apart on me but my Stage 2 was fine.

    Thats what I figured! Alot of people have ran the 555R all the way around but the NT05R are alot softer. Is this a local car or a Canadian? I have not seen much for Vette's around here other than old men driving like grannies with them LOL. Did you ever go look at that LX that was for sale...

    302 vs. 331 dyno with same h/c/i

    I figured I'd toss this up since it was my old motor with the 302 then 331, all else the same except the 331 was 8.5:1 and the 302 was 9:1 (stock 93 bottom end). TFS heads. TFS cam, Holley intake and ProCharger with low boost and REALLY conservative tune.

    Thanks! I used a Hurst handle/plate kit with the Pro 5.0 shifter. I like the longer reach for my short arms with the Hurst but the Pro 5.0 is my favorite 5.0 shifter, never missed 3rd gear with one and they take a beating!

    I only have to add some gas and hook he battery up and it is time to set the timing!! BUT I had surgery today. I am not done with the interior as I have to install the new deck and stuff later. I plan on redoing the seats as well, maybe leather.

    I have ran or driven with most of the clutches out there. I like the Centerforce DF but you want the one listed for the 96-98 Cobra as it is the same size but actually holds more power than the 5.0 clutch. Strange but true.     DOH!!! my 93 GT ran 13.80@100 then a 13.9@103 with stock motor, 3.27 gears, exhaust, and pulleys! Something is not right somewhere for sure....

    I will tell you right now, if you want to boost the hell out of a motor don't waste the time in doing forged internal on a stock 5.0 block. You WILL split it eventually. If you have the $$ get a BOSS, Dart, or older R302 block an do it right. With a stock block, there is no point in replacing...
