Every manufacture measures it differently. Some will take the inter-rib and measure it to the other inter-rib. Others might take the outer-rib to outer-rib. I think Vortech, Paxton & Eaton all do inter-rib to inter-rib but I could be wrong. Hopefully somebody else will chime in here.
