Could be so many things. The big ones are: battery (i.e. not enough amps), electrical (i.e. coil/plugs), fuel pressure (i.e. fuel pump, fuel rail). While batteries can last long, typical age is 4-5 years. Check the relay and fuses for the fuel system.
