Newbie from ROC
If meant for me, I'm actually a 585. I'm close enough to the Monroe line that I have a Fairport number and Penfield schools. I did live a little further east (still Penfield schools) prior this house and it was 315. I'm originally from Syracuse so was a 315er for a very long time. Never ashamed...- mabcim

I was going to mention about checking them, but noticed they were not personal plates. But I did forget that people paid for personal plates to keep their previous plate number. Glad it worked out ok. BTW - in case future people read this. The way to check is to do to DMV and they have a page...- mabcim

Yup. eBay or flea markets. They don't make them, you have to find plates that are still around; which seems strange since people are suppose to turn in plates, but they are out there. I got mine on eBay. The tricky part is that you need a complete set. 64/65 only had one plate, so that is all I...- mabcim

Welcome. nice Capri. To be '86 plates on, make sure your insurance card says "Historical" on it. The DMV will require that. There is no charge from the insurance company, they just need to be reminded to do it. And even if you don't get '86 plates, you will get plates that say Historical. Unless...- mabcim

New owner, couple questions
Ford Racing has some nice stuff. They have a suspension kit that lowers the care just a bit. It is ~$1000. I saw a carwith it at a Ford display at the Woodward Dream Cruise last year. I like it. Maybe. I haven't been there yet this year. I have only made it out a couple of times each year (even though I only live a couple miles away). There is a 67 convertible from Webster that has a color close to mine, so there is a chance that is the one you have seen.- mabcim
