Thank you for the comments about the Mustangs. Yours is very nice as well. Totally agree about Ford Racing. Always dreamed about a Shelby, until I saw a TV special on Roush. No question I prefer that now. They put a lot of engineering into their stuff.- mabcim

Finally found my exhaust!
If I ever get around to putting on different mufflers on my 2011 I'm going with Ford Racing. I have talked with the tech guys a couple different years at their booth during Woodward Dram Cruise. Their initial launch of the mufflers was delayed because they didn't like what they got. They had too...- mabcim

Removing the side strip tape
I would think with today's clear coats you would be fine. You will probably need to buff it a little to 'blend it, since the clear under the strip will be factory fresh and the rest of the srufaces 'scratched' from washing and the elements.- mabcim

66 Coupe V8 swap
I see less and less 6cyl Mustangs. If the car is close to original, you might want to concern leaving the 6 in. If it needs a ton work or you just want more of a rest mod, then got for it. Wish I could offer more advice, but what you listed it all I know about the swap to V8. I think the...- mabcim
