I feel the same. I'm usually the only sixxer out here in Rochester at the shows. I don't care though. I love my car and I've gotten quite a few good comments so it's all good. I get 30 MPG on a good day as well. Nothing to complain about! Haha
Interesting that you mention that. Member redlawyers had the same issue and replaced his IAC valve and I believe a few months after that had to replace his battery. Could very well be related.
Wow that's a good point. Didn't realize that. I'm gonna be honest I do like the 2010-2012 front end better though. Not a fan of all the fancy accent lighting on the 2013's.
That is true. I've already gotten a 20 over ticket with this car. I really love it when my car just feels tight. The new springs and struts/shocks definitely helped but there's still some play in my drivetrain. I do know folks had said a new driveshaft definitely tightened up the drivetrain but...
If I were you I'd use this opportunity to upgrade your suspension. I had some issues with my stock suspension making a clunking noise over speed bumps but since upgrading my springs and shocks/struts it's been perfect. :D
Well this is what happens when you remove the 115 MPH speed limiter on a new V6 and proceed to hit 135 MPH with the stock driveshaft: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZXBjVIrR08
Yeah you're probably right. Sometimes I get worried about this driveshaft as well after seeing some of the horror stories. The slip yoke is in the very center which is naturally going to be the weakest part of a driveshaft when it comes to balance. A one-piece aluminum one will probably be a bit...
I guess I'm looking for a little bit of both. I'm still trying to get rid of the wheel hop I have when launching at the track but I feel like a driveshaft would maybe be a bit more fun day to day and would maybe even improve fuel economy. Thing is I'm only planning on going to the drag strip a...
