    Another 1990_LX Production

Great job on cleaning up the engine bay. My next project on the 88 that I am working on is hiding the wires. They are such a mess under the hood and the solenoid cover for it does not seem to last from all the write ups I've read.

    Buyer's remorse?

This thread is really getting good!!! I forgot what the subject was. Keep it going Jenney and Melissa. This is worth the price of admission. The window sticker says MSRP. Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price. You don't have to take their suggestion.

    Buyer's remorse?

Your pony is pumping 300Hp, the same as a 2005 to 2010 Gt. The 2012 Gt is 400 Hp. Why not go to your friendly Ford dealer and ask if you can have a supercharger installed that will give you added hp without voiding the warranty. This will give you added power, the economy of a V6 and lower...

Thanks for the feedback. The car is an LX with 225/50/16's on the front and 255/50/16's on the rear. I like the way the rear end looks with the wide tires. Do you have as your back tires the same as the front?

I have had 6 good years with it and going strong. My mechanic friend who i asked to do it was quite busy at the time and talked me into doing it myself. He told me if I run into any problems he would come over and help me. When I fired it up #7 cylinder misfired once and caused a fault. Went to...

Not a big project...but i need some ideas..

Hey you were asking for some ideas and we are giving them to you. If you don't want the studs, use pop rivets. If you do mount the scoop under the hood, your going to have to install a center drain. Now this is really getting pricey since you may need to call in a plumber.

Hey Tom, that is 2 votes for the studs up idea. How many votes do you need before you do it. I also like the paints scheme of most of the people. Paint the car flat black and paint the hood scoop yellow. Is that right??

Not a big project...but i need some ideas..

You will just have to remove a couple of thingies that are sitting on top of the engine to make it work. It will be better performance because it will be less weight. The problem dealing with a gorgeous saleswomen is when the transaction is all done you have no idea what you bought or how much...
