F/S 302 short block
I have a 1990 short block with 180k miles that needs a rebuild that I want to sell. This is the block that was in my car before I pulled it to put in my new engine. What fuel pump do you have in it now? I would at least go with a 255 lph pump or the Aeromotive 340lph pump. Also, what else is done to the car engine wise?- AdirondackFox08

You should be able to look them up. Make sure your fuel pump is upgraded also, and I would not get to crazy with the timing. It would be best if you could take it and get it tuned so you don't have any problems with detonation. You probably don't need an aftercooler yet, I would still use a...- AdirondackFox08

From some of the dyno sheets I've seen, the long tubes give you more power down low, but up top there isn't too big of a difference, these of course were from magazines, so take it for what it's worth. BBK shorties are pretty good, whatever you do, do NOT get the equal length shorties. PITA to install and put the plugs in. Keep in mind that when they ran the stock foxes back then, they were new. Most stock foxes now with higher mileage won't run those numbers, unless with a good driver. 3.73 gears
Yeah the new speedo gear is needed if you want the speedometer to read correctly. Mine is off about 3-5 mph from the 3.73s and the original gears were 3.08s.- AdirondackFox08
