Red 21 tooth in an '89. I have changed a pile of gears, just did some 4.10 gears in a 99 GT this week. The 90-93 have to use a white 23 tooth speedo gear which is not as accurate but the only choice.

Pro Motion makes good quality clutches, I was looking into getting a built T-5 from them and a clutch if I ended up keeping my car. I forgot all about them until you mentioned it.

Almost all the stock uppers I have taken off had that red/blue paint on them, I think it is just some kind of inspection marking. The bracket on the back of the intake is just a support bracket for the upper intake. Overkill from the factory...

Glad you got it going! I'm not sure why it didn't want to idle with the hood on? Should be getting plenty of air if the filter is clean in the box? Those meters are fussy though as far as the direction of airflow not so much quantity.

No air in the system? Did you let it run for awhile with the cap off? Is spitting coolant out or just hot on the gauge? This may sound dumb but how is the belt routed?
