Well I def got the car cranking I bought a 4g wire and hard wired it. Motor cranked fast but wouldn't start getting the msd 8598 and a new coil and going ti explore the wiring if tht don't work going to get it to a shop

Yea from what I remember I got it from CJ its a 200 amp using the stock ford alternator wire to the solenoid. Everytime we tried cranking the car the power wire gets really hot to the touch.

Ok I'm going to check all of tht tomorrow. I had to cut the corroded part of the ground and fix tht. So tht should b on the block and there should also b another ground hooked up?

The carb is fine adjusted it and tuned it and got the idle straight. However when I saw the alternator hook up it looks like the two modules were spliced together and connected to the power hookup on the alternator. Can I delete those and just run it from the battery to the powermaster? Because...

Yea I bought the mustang with a 6al and blaster and stock distributor with a msd cap. The car doesn't wanna turn over but does crank. autozone tried to say my 200 amp powermaster was busted those are suppose to last forever. But what's wrong with MSD. I was gunna get a summit distributor for now.

Got a 89 lx carb with a 86 block gunna run a 8579 MSD distributor but don't know if I need to change to a steel gear. Its a roller motor. Do I use the iron gear or do I have to switch it over?

Well I called Holley and purchased a manual choke conversion kit I hope this works (I love holley). Hopefully this helps.
