arp studs have different torque specs but theyre not too far from stock....did you make sure both surfaces were clean when you put on the gasket?

dont matter if its 40 year old technology, i know plenty of people who drive carbureted cars year round no problems....easy to tune, relativley cheap and cleaner engine bay

i wouldnt bother with a tremec, they tend to shift like shit after launching with slicks and dont like missed shifts.... go with a g force t5

before you cut apart your car do some reasearch on it.... as i said theres alot more to the conversion than just slapping a set of notch 1/4s on it..

foxbodys are a dime a dozen theyre not worth hanging new quarters on them.... maybe if you have a goog amount of money into cage/chassis work other than that no.. theres alot more work than just putting on notch quarters.

i wouldnt bother boring/rebuilding the bottom end if your gonna spray it, if a 302 block is gonna pop from spray its gonna pop, better off getting a set of nice heads (trick flow, edelbrock or afr) and a good cam, stay away from alphabet cams they suck....i dont see you making anywhere near 300...

carburetors dont have upper and lower intakes, you can find a good used carb intake for like $150..

aeromotive makes a bypass regulator you can use with the stock intank pump
