So i truly dont want to spend 265 bucks on a JBA catless Hpipe when i plan to buy longtubes. I was thinking of just removing the cats for now. Or is just taking the Hpipe down and blowing out the insides of the cats a better idea/cheaper/same effect? Also, i know then ill have a CEL when...

its not about how much money you make, just saying it adds up over time. Idc if you make 30k or 100k, blowing thousands on a stupid ticket gets old no matter who you are. I do agree tho, it depends on the car. Ive never heard of a vette/bmw etc getting a 'no front plate' ticket.

i used to think the same way. The no front plate ticket varies by county. Ive paid 85-155 for no front plate. Easily have over a grand, probably closer to 1500 in no front plate tickets over the years. So i run a front plate no matter what now, as much as i hate it! If my car didnt already have...
