I personally like the C&L Racer cai the best. It flowed the most air in the test MM&FF did and made the 2nd most power only being beat by Steeda by 4hp and it was only for N/A. When tested for F/I the Racer cai won with ease by 13rwhp which is decent. Either way both are nice kits. Jlt is nice...

On the 4.6 3V I personally found Borla to be too quiet. I had the Stingers and they didn't sound so hot due to the way the system is setup, and they really weren't poppy either, not even upon deceleration. If he goes that route he'd probably want an o/r mid pipe. Really though he needs to go...

Ed's suggestion of LM 2's could work too. Just depends on how loud you want it. If you ever plan on doing an o/r mid then you may wanna avoid deletes altogether.

SLP's are muffler deletes lol. I had them on my 2011 5.0 with no issues, and they are slightly quieter on the 4.6 3v, so I don't think you'll have any issues. Just don't remove the cats.

Build quality and fitment suck bud. I have had their H pipe, X pipe and cat back. And I've got friends who've had bad fitment issues. My 99 GT had the violator catback. It wasn't that old and already had surface rust spots starting. And their warranty isn't great either. So why not pay a little...

SLP is way better than the Pypes delete. Pypes are junk. He's better off spending an extra $30 on the SLP kit. It's also lifetime warrantied.

Neither has mine brother. I haven't cruised in probably 2 years.
