I've read quite a bit about it on some other forums. My friend has a 2011 5.0 with the Roush axlebacks and they've already rusted apart at the welds and he only drives his car in the summer too. Some folks have said drilling weep holes helps though but I'm not sure. I drilled some in my FRPP...
I keep thinking of doing the same. I'm dumping so much money on insurance and whatnot for my car I could just get something economical and save so much. I would miss going to the NYM cruises though.
Planning on getting a 93 tune from More Power Tuning next spring. No sense in getting a tune right now before winter. I'll just shred my snow tires even more.
That's awesome that you're running on SSDs. Didn't know it how common that had become so far with server environments. I've been running SSDs on my personal PCs for a few years now and I won't look back.
I'm in Rochester so that's a ways away. Haha. I found a local Dunn Tire that has BFG g-Force Sport COMP-2's for $193 a piece. Probably gonna go that route.
Anyone know of a good place to buy 255/40R19 tires? TireRack only has the Hankook Ventus V12 evo's I currently have and another all-season Hankook in that size. Sam's Club's cheapest set in that size is $319 a pop. :(
You know what's funny? When you watch TV shows or movies when you're older than you used to watch as a kid they're nowhere near as good as you remember them. Hahaha
Gears would be a nice and easy way to bump up your acceleration. Those go hand in hand with a tune though since you'll need a tune to fix your speedo with new gears.
This is killing me. I'll have been without my Mustang for a week when Tuesday rolls around. Apparently the dealership thought it was a good idea to order my new hood the day I brought it in instead of beforehand. Not a happy camper.
