How does a stall converter work? When I launch I just put it in drive and put my feet on the gas and brakes and get the rpms up. Is there a different technique?

I do have a trac lock which definitely helps. I have 3.73 gears, CAI, dual exhaust, 93 octane race tune and currently using Sumitomo HTR Z II 275/40-18.

I'm thinking about putting MT street radials on my lightly modded 4.0 V6 just for messing around once a week at the track next summer. Is this too much tire? I can't seem to hook up with my sumitomo htz IIs. Can I ride on these all summer or should I put them on some plain old steel wheels?

Gas is expensive no matter what kind you put in. :p

the 93 octane performance tune is great for daily driving, just the race one might be a little harsh for daily.

you're really supposed to run the tank to almost empty before changing octane types. You could probably put octane booster in to correct it. Not sure how much you should put in though. I run the Bama race tune both on the track and on the street. On the track it's awesome, about 2/10...

and ask for the economy tune.

I have this and a 93 octane race tune, I love both tunes. Don't go higher unless you tune it.

I flushed out the drains by running water on them with the rubber pieces out just in case. I don't get large amounts of water coming in just a nasty mildew smell when it rains. My cabin air filter does smell so I will try replacing that.

I appreciate the help, it definitely helped knowing that they aren't really screws... I would've been turning those all day. When you took out the drains, were they loaded with leaves? I took mine out and the passenger side looked clean, and the driver side only had a tiny leaf in it.

Thanks, I tried that but it didn't really work then, I tried pinching the bottom piece with pliers and they popped right out :)

How do you get the plastic screws/clips off to get to the cabin air? I tried unscrewing them and they just spun..

stay out of the 2000rpm range when cruising. get gears ;) probably the pypes street pros that come with the kit right? the mufflers might be a cause for the drone.
