Hi guys, my name is George. I'm old enough to have bought my 1st car, a 1952 Ford flathead in 1963 for $15. Problem was I didn't have the $15 and so me and a friend put in $7.50 each and we bought the car. My 1st "muscle" car was a 1966 Ford Fairlane GT, 390/335, red on red, 4:11 rear, Hurst shifter w/ T-handle bought in Feb. 1968. Now I have an '08 Dark Highland Green Bullitt which I bought in March of '08. I've installed the lower grille inserts and had the windows tinted. Recently I bought the SCT3 tuner from Breenspeed and I'm running the 93 octane tune which is awesome. Now I'm close to buying the Kooks LT headers w/ X-pipe. I have no idea where to get them installed. I'm looking for a reputable dealer/installer who will stand behind their work. Can anyone help me out?

Welcome and Thanks for joining. You are going to Love the Lt's when you get them. I installed JBA Lt's on my car and they are great. As far as a company installing the Headers for you I would have to say Mustang Magic but they are about 5 hrs away. There is also Moon performance in Lake Placid and Quintin brothers in Williston,VT.

Thanks to all for the welcome. To PrjctLxEnvy, yes it was an awesome Fairlane. I did 3 things that made it almost unbeatable on the street during the time of RoadRunners, Challangers, Chevelles, 442's, GTO's and the rest. One was putting in the Hurst shifter (after breaking my right ring finger throwing a speed shift), Two was putting on a set of cheater slicks. These were the biggest tires I could fit in the wheel well. They had two little threads on each side making them street legal plus I ran them at 10-12 lbs., and lastly I learned how to power shift. When I beat those cars we would always go back to where we started and there would be about 6 ft of rubber from my car and at least a hundred feet from the other...got 'em every time. Most would whine about my tires but they all had way more HP than me. I bought that car for $1950 in Feb. '68 and beat the daylights out of it for 4 years. Besides a clutch now and then I never had a problem, never broke anything. Then I got married and bought a........................Pinto.
