I know this topic was brought up before, but I really didn't see the answers I was looking for, so...
I am thinking about buying new headers for my 2006 V6 4.0l Cologne power plant. I see a lot of choices out there, ranging from $95 to $500, all touting to have the same gains in engine performance, with only slight variations in construction materials. To be honest, they all look like the same picture to me regardless of manufacturer or price.
So, the question is, what's the true difference in what is out there, and what is the best value for the money?
As I said, I have a 2006 V6, with CAI, BAMA Tuned, Dual Exhaust, MAC Boom Tubes Axle backs, OEM Cats, OEM Headers, 70 MM TB. I'm guessing I am pulling 270 - 280 HP Right now, if what the ads say are true, will I be closer to the 290+ mark?
Any thoughts or comments are appreciated.
