5.0 306 10:1comp twisted wedge track heat heads,trick flow stage 2 cam,gt40 intake,70mm tb,long tube headers,30lb injectors,3:73 rear dynoed 307hp and 337tq,wat u think about the numbers?

I had a 302, 10:1, TW heads, stage 1 cam, Cobra intake, 24lb injectors and made 309/365.

I dont think the extra cam stage is helping at all.

I had the same heads, but the TW stage 1 cam and made the same HP with 30 more rwtq.

I totaly 1000% disagree ... Your intake for one is holding you back, the GT40 in todays standards is quite restrictive. That cam is a "O.K" cam but is holding you back compared to a custom, comp, or anderson! Your heads are fine as well... For example i run 185's on a NA 331 and really need to step it up to a 205 225 runner.

I forgot to mention that I made 309/365 with the same heads, Stage 1 cam, and a Cobra intake. I dont think a custom cam is worth the extra $200 bucks over the Trickflow one. As far as the intake, I dont think swapping it is worth the investment.

Thats cause to make the cobra intake excell you need to port the lower, and you really should step up to the holly intake to see any bigger numbers out of a NA 306. You dont think a custom cam is worth the money cause you have never bought one its well worth it. I mean 365fttq out of a 306 is awesome no dout... but to climb on the hp side you will need to do these things i mentioned. You have a lot of head and no intake or cam.

I'm currently Carb, but I've had 6 EFI hci combos between a 302 and 331... I can tell you this best intakes Holly and Eddie RPM. Best heads AFR, Canfields,Trick Flow if thier ported. Best cam Custom.... Of course all combos react different. But, dollar for dollar best gains will be from what I said above! This is a great forum indeed.. but lot more "how's my new rims look" than tech stuff from experienced ppl just my .02
