Correct, it is only for the Boss 302. The car has two ECU modes and with the track key it has more aggressive spark mapping and a preprogramed 2 step launch controller.

as is no real neeed to mod it just take it to a track day and your good to go off the bat

I would want to mod it, especially being a track car, it seems like it could be a good platform as long as the ECU doesn't cause issues.

It's inevitable that you would get bored of it and want more, and then the mods start raining down on it.
