I used to work at a body shop in high school, I could never afford to pay anyone to do it, so I learned. Dave at paintworx is painting the car.

I have known Dave for many years, he is good people!! good choice there!!

spent some time doing the last little details to get the car ready to go to the body shop.

I made some supports for the lower nose/fenders. The front end is real solid now and doesnt flop around at all.

I also got the fender flares fitting flush with the lower nose, I epoxied some washers on the back to move the front out a bit

Since I plan or running the car pretty low I rolled the fender lips, and trimmed teh flares so ill have more tire clearance

everything fitting better, now I can fill/fiberglass the rest to get it perfect.

I may go somewhere else, I heard horror story from someone I know wouldn't BS me. I'm not 100% sure yet on who i'm going with.

yea, it wasnt just one thing either, it was like a bunch of things they did.

got the lower scoops today, I got one side fit. Most people mold them in but Im going with the bolt on look like the movie car, that way I don't have to deal with cracks down the road. It look a lot of trimming and fitting to get them to fit nice, but im pretty happy with them, I might do a little bit more to get them perfect.

It really does.. Its fits right along the edge whereas the movie car is like an 1/8th of an inch off..

got a couple more little things done

cut and trimmed the gas neck to fit behind the C pillar

got the gas cap recess made, big thanks to mike for helpin me out on this!

called CVS and got the measurements for the positioning and marked it out.

I also test fit the rear bumper, shame all that brand new chrome is gonna be sandblasted off.

I dont have the rims yet. They are a handmade wheel so it makes a bit.

got the gas cap recess all welded up and the gas filler tube made today, forgot to take my camera to the shop today tho.
