custom tune not passing

I recently put a brenspeed bullet/sct tuner on my 08 gt/cs..custom tune ..but it comes up fail on the inspection computer...has anyone had this problem??:confused:

your rear O2 sensors are probably turned off. when it comes inspection time, youre better off swapping back to stock

I have shut rear o2 of and never had issue with a car failing??? My friend has his shut off on his GT500 as well, no issues......

Well we reloaded stock program and installed factory cold air back on...and i went for a 1hr drive,gonna drive again tomm to reteach program...then were gonna hook itup to comp tomm and see if it passes...boy its a slug back to stock....:thumbsdown:

Apparently i was wrong about the reload..they meant 5 diff cars!!!But i can load in program as many times as i want...oops i zigged before i zagged...:smash:well i hope i pass tomm...:rolleyes:

Contact breenspeed and they will email you a legal tune. I had the same issue...and when I got the new tune loaded up I passed the inspection without any issues :)
Or...you can return the car to stock...drive it for 100 miles...and than bring it back to the inspection place.

im gonna go for a 100 mi ride tomm morn...its all loaded/swapped back to stock...untill i pass..:evil:I wish brenspeed would tell us this ahead of time...:rolleyes:

^^^ I agree. I remember hearing about it when I originally bought the tune and cai two years ago. Im sure that you will pass the inspection....and if you dont than just call them and they will e-mail a free tune.

They said the fee is 10.00 to turn the 02 sensors on.:evil:Thats not gonna break the bank but i wish they would tell ya what you have to do ahead of time...Now my plans for 4:10 gears/3000 stall torque converter????I may think twice about doing it..:( I wanna drag race car 2 to 3 times a month...and you know us performance guys like to improve/change things..thanx guys for info by the way..:):)

Finally at 7pm she passed..2min later reinstalled my bullet cold air/reloaded race tune...good fora nother year...i wanted to put a 3000 stall/4:10 gears gee should i take the chance..the tranny guy at a garage I frequent says he wouldnt do it..that im asking for trouble with my inspection nxt year...its a big downer for me...:rolleyes:
