yes. the 4cyl t5s have a slightly smaller tip on the input shaft so u need a different pilot bearing. they also have different gearing. 3.97 for first gear..if uve got 4.10s ur first gear is gunna be gone with a 4cyl tranny...some people say they are weaker some say they are better. i guess its all how you drive because there are guys well into the 11s with a 4cyl t5
heck yeah go up to 125... i had a stock 5.0 with 125,000 miles on the engine and blew a 125 shot allllllll day long without any problems.. even had the stock fuel pressure regulator and stock fuel pump that also had 125k on em and never had a prob like all summer long
I got an AOD for now. I'm sure i'll go to 125 soon. I haven't sprayed it yet because of some issues i been having with the car running rough. It's gotta be right ya know. I got a brand new dry kit off ebay for 500 shipped.
im not sure off the top of my head...but there is a tag on the rear that can tell you wat you have...either way if it hasnt been changed then the gears are low enough for the 4cyl tranny and ull still have a first gear lol
I'm on the 2nd one since i bought it a year ago. I think I put 6 or 7k on it. You can just feel that it's robbing power. I'll probably have to wait like a month before I have the rest of the parts I need.
