Would move those gears 2 the top of the list for next mod...4.10's on that auto with a sticky tire will make the biggest difference staying N/A

yeah, the list isnt in any type of order. just throwing them up there after each suggestion. as for tires/wheels. u suggest wider rear? or all 4? 18x9's? im currently on the stock 17x8's

driving the car in the city i wouldn't go with 18's. I'd get a set with 17x9 fronts and 17x10.5 rears. 275/40's on the front and 315/35's on the rear. A big step up from the 245/45's that are on the car

ok, so do we agree the stock 17x8's arent cutting it at least?

i just bought these tires and they have less than 1k on them, so once i wear em down, i'll upgrade the wheels.

so far, i think u guys are agreeing on 17x9's up front, correct?

since when is there such a thing as too much tire, lol...

not in my book...

if he puts 315 streeters (not drs) on the back they'll hook nicely at his power level, last him for a good while, and look mean...

you dont think i will have nay type of clearance issues right?

and 1 more thing ive always wondered about this topic. what kind of spare should i get?!! i cant have 2 spares in the car lol, 1 for the front pair and 1 for the back. how do u guys solve this problem? or do u just sit back and cross ur fingers that u wont catch a flat? :D:D

i dont even have a spare in my car. right now im running the stock wheels, but 235's front and 245's rear

nah it'll fit.

your spare will cover front or rear, no need for two...

ok, kewl. so we are all in agreement about 7x9 fronts and 17x10.5 rears. 275/40's on the front and 315/35's on the rear??

need a consensus before i update list. i want this to be an have all, end all n/a list that others can use as well ;)

Yeah, never go with 18's on a new edge, especially if you live in the city, you will always scrape the tire and it will get chewed up so you'll end up with having to roll the fenders. not to mention the addition of extra weight, 17" for sure.

I would ditch the headers, won't really do much for all the work and money that goes into it.

I have done this all ready.....I would def. go with a 17-9 in front and 17-10.5 out back for rims 100% I did 18-10.5 in the rear of my 00gt and have some clearance issue with my MT on there it really urges me!:mad: But I honestly cant remember exactly what my tire demencions are right now but ill check later and get back to yea! They def. do give it a SWEET looking mean stance!:headbang:

headers removed until its throughly discussed regarding it being on the list.

still no suggestions between a ram air intake or cai?

I have also heard that the headers on a new edge 2v are not worth the money for power that you gain for the install....:idk:

yeah, most deff jlt. still deciding to either use their cai or rai:

JLT RAI:
Pros: Pulls in more air, usually cheaper due to less piping.
Cons: Air pulled in is warm from the engine compartment.

JLT CAI:
Pros: Pulls in cold air for better combustion.
Cons: Pulls in less air, usually more expensive.

input? so basically, more air or cooler air?
