lights problem

I was wondering if anyone could hlep me out an possibly tell me what maybe causing my 95 mustangs lights to flicker and turn off?in order to get headlights and back lights i have to use my brights and put the knob halfway so my lights dont turn on?thanks!

nope stock lights,i was told it was because my 10" sub but i dont buy that bull is it possible?yesterday when i got on my car all lights just shutdown on me?

my other car not a mustang had a short in it and is fine now but i bought it to the mechanic and they didnt find it?maybe ill take it somewhere else,now the car is backfiring gotta take it back to the dealership o got it from so they fix it up its on the warranty i have.

i would say check the switch check for bad ground run thru all the wiring running to and from the lights

Does it have aftermarket fog lights? If the wires for the fog lights are just spliced into the low beams that will over load the relay for the headlights. causiing them to go out and will eventully burn out the relay and the connections on you headlight switch. Also just plain check the relay. Also its not the sub that can give you issues its the amplifer for the system. Anything over 500 watts rms should have at least a 1 farad cap and or a high output alt. Both is the best. Amp draw that isnt properly supported will cause a lot of stress on the whole electrical system but prolly isnt the cause of your problems. Good luck.
