Well i was going to have mine re-done and stick a ton of money in it with a c6 input shaft and make it a renegade trans. I just decided I might as well build a brand new one to hold the power instead of going further with mine. I have a TON of money in this trans and has held up to 40 bottles of spray this year. It is going to need freshened but needs no hard parts.
Here is a breakdown:
Case fill C5 case
JW Ultra bell recently certified
Modified and hardened front drum
Hardened input shaft
Modified high drum with 6 clutches
Welded Kevlar bands
Dynamic Transmissions manual reverse trans brake valve body.
Modified servo
Deep aluminum pan with bung for temp gage.
front drum and # 9 bearing is rollerized
Hardened rollerized 3 pinion planetary (Much stronger than the aftermarket 6 pinion).
Asking $1,200 for the trans as is or I will have it freshened with top of the line stuff for $500 more.
This trans is stronger than an off the shelf PA Super Comp. I have made at least 75 passes at the 9.4 and faster this year with the tranny. It just flares a little now on the 2-3 shift because the clutches are starting to get worn but it still went 9.08 on the last pass.
