Remote starter

I am looking to buy a remote starter for my automatic 2002 gt. I am looking to spend $120 max. Any suggestions? Hard to install?

Remote Starts are a bitch! to put in i install them and it sucks specially with ford there is a chip inside the key so you need to get another key made up and put it in a bypass box underneath the steering column, for 120$ ur not gonna get a good system and its not gonna cost that much for everything your probably looking like 250 at least

You may be able to get a single button starter but as 02minrlgrygt said, it won't be a very good system. Then you have to carry 2 key fobs. Iirc, the bypass is yet another $60. If I were you, I would hold off for now and save up more money.

Come down to the bronx i can probably get you set up with a nice one for around 200 installed and you don't have to put ur key in the dash like with the cheaper systems.

I wasn't gonna say anything about that. But since Ghost said it, he is right.

You can use a pascode module, that will eliminate the need for a key.

Not bashing the larger install companies, but, there are ways and units to bypass that system.

Bring it down here and either I or Ghost will hook you up.

I have a passcode module in my car if you want gregg to install it i can get you the system for cheap. Whatever works for you

I can do most cars for $120 ... thats including keyless entry and any bypass

i have been doing them for about 15 years ... i strictly use omega products ..

yea the bypasses where u dont need the key are just a pain in the ass i feel like, a lot more to hook up rather then just like a 556uw

IM04 ... dont even have to pull the shroud down ... 2 wire hook up on omega units ... doent get much easier

he doesnt need an extra key dough asl ong as he has the 2 keys the box is programed that way
