I would rather have them tuned off than using MIL eliminators. If you do get MIL eliminators, I would recommend the plug in type as opposed to the splice. If you do splice them though, make sure you do it toward the plug end of the harness. If you splice too close to the sensor, you risk damaging the sensor, as the insulation in the harness contains a "channel" the sensor uses for air reference.
