Hey guys, I realize I never made an intro to myself. So, here's a post of the most recent stuff I've been doing.
Here are a few pictures of my 2004 V6 as it was before it came off the road last year:
I went down to the barn yesterday to snap some pictures and take some videos of the projects and cars in the barn.
Everything you see below is getting installed this year!
Here's my car, undercover and in pieces:
Here are my parts, also in pieces:
What I have in the closet:
-SCT Xcal3
-BOI '01 Cobra Fogs
-Steeda H-pipe Conversion
-MM SS Rear Brake Lines for IRS
-Steeda Adjustable Clutch Cable
-Stack Racing Firewall Adjuster and Quadrant
-My Ford Packet (hasn't been in the car in 2 years)
-GlowShift Gauges + Pod (Air/Fuel, Water Temp, Boost)
What's in the barn:
-MM Full-Length XL Subframe Connectors
-Stock Y-Pipe to be modified with Steeda H-Pipe
-'04 Cobra Rear Springs + Shocks + E-Brake Cables
-'99 Cobra IRS with '04 Cobra Rear Brakes
-MM IRS Subframe and Differential Poly Bushings
-'04 Cobra IRS Catback with Flowmaster Super 40s
-MM Strut Tower Brace (turns out I need to modify my upper intake manifold to make it work; not spending another $120 for a proper V6 one)
Here's my totally stock 1983 Hurst/Olds Cutlass:
Video of start-up and exhaust:
My daily, the 2006 Escape, now with 73,500 miles!
Oh, I might also have to add what else I've either bought this week or am buying very soon...
-3.73 Ford Racing Gear Set for IRS
-8.8 Rebuild & Bearing Kit (mine has 50k on it)
-Royal Purple Gear Oil
-RAM 26-Spline 11.0" Clutch rated to 650HP
And the big spender:
-Astro Performance A-5 Transmission rated to 550 HP/450 TQ
All this new performance stuff means I'll need a tune, and there is a highly reputable Mustang shop about 30 minutes away called P and J Speed Shop.
