Super frustrated right now. The clutch slave cylinder that came with my clutch kit was not the right one. Now I have to send the entire kit back for refund, then order a complete new kit. I am not buying anything from stockwiseauto again.
Go figure, I am on my last caliper of my brake install, and one of the slide pins is frozen in the frame. If that wasn't frustrating enough, the pin breaks off and I now have to buy a new frame and 2 new pins. But wait there's more... the closest parts house doesn't have one in stock, but will ship one in later this evening. I hope it's not dark when I finish this project.
Just thought I would add some info I have a 2006 V6 4.0. I have similar mods on my Stang except for your exhaust set up. I choose to go with gt500 mufflers. Exhaust and the various options get very technical. Your main goal is to decrease back pressure . That being said to much back pressure or to little back pressure can actually decrease performance. If you open up your exhaust with parts from the cats back you are still restricted by the OEM cats. They can only let so much exhaust is back pressure through. Then you have to deal with the oxegen sensors. They will try to keep everything in check. So at this point it gets very technical. Unless you really open up your engine ie high flow heads larger overall cubic inches and larger intake manifold they stock system really is tuned to the engine specs. Mufflers and such sound better but that's about all . Hope this helps aidenshep
Saturday looks like a good day to put new brakes on the 'stinger. I guess I should dig the jack and stands out of the garage. Parts arrive tomorrow evening.
