Had a good day at the Chili Chil E car show today. 130+ cars in attendance, 30 or so were Mustang. The kids got me laughing when they kept thinking my car was Bumblebee from the Transformers movies.
Just received an email reminder for the Chili Festival on the fourth. The picture they used had mine, redlawyers, blue smurf and blue 5.0's cars lined up from last year. I may go again this year :D
Took a long "Oil Burner" cruise after work to see how the new suspension set in. I was not disappointed. Handling is so much better with everything working equally. No more body roll, diving or wheel hop on corners.
Front Struts and Springs are in finally! That part of the 2017 suspension rehab was super easy. (easier than I thought) The 'stinger drives like a dream now with Joni adjustable Sport shocks and struts in place. Steeda Sport springs drop her down a little, but not so much that it looks slammed.
One of the best part of getting filthy dirty on a Saturday afternoon, is the satisfaction of knowing I did it while doing my own repairs and maintenance on my Mustang. Oil Change and Front Underbody inspection complete.
I've been starting to post events in the calendar for the shows brought to my attention this weekend. Most shows are in the Western Southern Tier, and North West Pennsylvania. Watch the calendar for all the new events.
Rear end suspension mods now in and complete. Initial test drive was very smooth and pleasing. Dropped the tail about an inch, the 'stinger looks level now. Front end mods will have to wait for spring compressors and new jack stands.
