Out for some fun this morning I ran a buddies brother in his 09 GTR. We ran twice from 40-110 or so. Both runs were about the same result, I jump out on him buy 1/2 car or so and reels me in and passes me around 100. I did have a passenger tho I doubt the result would have been different if I was alone, I also had the top down which certainly doesn't help. Also no doubt if we had gone to a higher MPH he'd have kept walking away from me. It was the only good run I got in on the day.

What version does he have though. LOoks hot. I wasn't bashing you just stating his car is faster that is all. I am glad you have friends with awesome cars like that. You should have him join the forums. Would love to pick his brain about his car. Nothing againest your stang either.

Two versions were introduced into the states. His car should do atleast 160mph if not faster. Most GTR's have 430hp motors too. Unless like you said he got a trimmed down version. Either way nice looking cars and glad you guys had fun.

I just looked it up on Nissan's site, one drive train, 480/430 hp/tq top speed 193, same tranny

only model difference is side air bags and some interior stuff

74-80k :eek2: time to start :stealtv: to make enough money to own one. LOL i would never steal nor would i ever own one of those. Can't imagine the insurance cost on one of those.

$75k BEFORE the $30k markup and BEFORE the $20k not-covered-under-warranty transmission that tends to blow up when you use the launch control ..

A buddy of mine works at nissan and he was sent to school by nissan to learn the ins and outs of the new gt-r and he told us that a break job on the track model is over 1800.00 bucks for just front pads and rotors. and 2700.00 for both front and rear. tune-up cost about 1500.00 bucks and thats for just plugs and all fluids to be changed!!! He said they got to work on a track model and put some power adders on it and dyno tune it and said if you add the stuff they are very fast cars but very expensive to mantain, but worth every penny of it. Not me LOL theres a couple around town here if i see one i will get pics lol

Dave nice Runs bro, But that some expensive RICE lmao, Now would the out come be the same against a Terminator...That's a Good Question...Don't think so Mr GTR lol
