Simmons FR rim question

Has anyone ever had thier SImmons refurbished? I have no problem resealing the three peices after powdercoating the insides however I feel the outter lip may have lost its temper over the years from being bent and straightened here and there. I guess Id liek to knwo has anyone ever had to replace the outer lip an dhow much
