When Ford launched the Shelby GT500KR in 2008 it was a significant upgrade compared to the standard GT500. The suspension was retuned by SVT, and the shifter was replaced with a short-throw unit from Ford Racing among other upgrades. Now owners of the 2007-2010 Shelby GT500 can get some of those same upgrades, as Ford Racing has added several GT500KR parts to their catalog. The unique 18×9.5-inch wheels (part #M-1007-KR1895), springs and shocks (part #M-23000-KR), short-throw shifter (part #M-7210-BKR1) and brake cooling kit (part #M-2004-A) are now all available for individual purchase.
