Hey,
I've typically been a Windsor guy,But I've had alot of Freinds with Clevelands. I always liked the 2v Heads on street cars ,Great low end. With A 4v intake even better it sounds like a nice combo.
So you were thinking of going to a coil setup for ride height or handling? You can definately make your current setup work in both cases,I'm guessing for less than a coil spring conversion. How are your front springs,New? You can drop them, As far as the rear if it's just a case of sagging,Is your main leaf bent,Or does it still have some arch to it? I haven't done it in a little while But I've been removing and adding leafs to my cars for years to get the proper ride height and for handling, wheel hop reasons, etc. The only draw backs are that you have to have access to leaf spring pieces and you may have to use used leafs, with newer springs(some people cringe at this because they have to have all "NEW" in their cars.Personally I feel dealing with new leafs is hard because alot of times it seems they don't do what the sellers claim,Because each car is different. I've seen guys put in lowering springs that stayed stock height lifting springs, that sat level, etc.
