I am trying to make this event. Problem is my kids might not have someone to watch them and not sure they will be up for a 3 hr trip one way. I working on some people to watch them and getting my father to join me....So please pray the car stays together and i can get a babysitter!

I totally understand the situation with childcare. I have two of my own and I had to spend a lot of time finding coverage for the day so that my wife and I can make this event.

We will have meeting spots up soon for everyone to meet on the way to Albany, we will be doing one in Syracuse and one in Utica

too far for me to make it after attending my little Bro's Wedding in Ithaca on Sat on the 13th. Post some pics afterwards please.

Here is the map of the NYS Thruway and the 2 rest area's we will be stopping at to pick people up, the 1st stop is the Dewitt rest area for the Syracuse people, we will meet there at 9:30am, leave no later then 9:45am.

2nd Meeting spot will be the Indian Castle Travel plaza inbetween exits 29A and 29, this will be the meeting point for all central and Utica people coming along, we will meet there at 11am, then leaving there no later then 11:15am.

That should have us arriving in Albany at 1pm. We will have radio's in the cars and our phones will be on, please text or call with questions, we dont want to miss anyone or leave anyone behind, we could run late as we will not know the weather or the thruway traffic till we get going.

Anyone seen this guinness book of world records mustang parade? Its on sept 14th in lake George same day and place as ny mustangs super cruise. Should be a lot of mustangs in town that day. WNYT.com - Guinness Book of World Records mustang challenge

+1 I emailed with the person setting that world record attempt up and was informed that someone high up here at nym told her nym wasn't participating.... makes no sense to me... let's all be there as a club and make nym a part of something BIG !!!

seriously we can add a lot of cars if she waits till 2:00. Who would have told her no, I thought we were promoting the Mustang. 766 cars is a lot of cars, don't know if we could even put a dent in that. see everyone on the 14th
