Nitto NT555Rs 305/35/18 or 305/40/18 ????

Hey guys, so I've been doing a lot of research and thinking about what tire setup I want to go with. I am running 18x10 bullitts in the rear and 17x9 bullitts up front. I wanted to make the rubber look balanced by getting 305/40's in the rear, but according to nitto's info, its a little narrower than the 305/35 and the speed rating is V (149mph).... my question is, what do you guys think? is the extra sidewall on the 305/40 preferable to the 305/35 with a higher speed rating and little extra width?

i'd go with the 40 series, i would rather have a little more height than width, what front tire size are you running?

I'm running 305/35-18's...35's pretty tall (about 1" taller then stock height)...40's better if you want to take EVEN more gear out!

I was thinking of running either the NT05 or the NT555 255/40/17 up front. I thought 45 wouldnt look good with all that sidewall and nothing close to that on the rear you know?

I like the look of the 40 but there are those times when you want to take it up to high speeds, is it still safe even tho its "only" rated for 149 mph?? Also is there really a noticeable difference in width compared to the 35 sidewall?
